CONSISTENCY PAYS OFF
Paul "Henry" West wins
his first Massey with a very consistent year where he only shot over par on
one occasion. He did not win any rounds but finished 2nd or 3rd six
times with his worst result being a 4th place.
Two players didn't make
it to the final weekend and were replaced by "brothers" Bean, Ray
& Andy Mac who joined us at Club Yarrawonga after a pub crawl through
Victoria that had Paul wondering whether he was going to make it in time!
Glenn chased hard all
the way winning twice and it was a two horse race heading to Yarrawonga. Only
1.5 points separated the leaders. However, he blew up during the final round
to record a net 79 to finish a distant second.
"BACK" TO THE
CLUB HOUSE
Crunny, who had an
outside chance trailing Henry by only 4.5 points going into the final round on
the Murray Course could not finish and was last seen with his back stooped at 90
degrees to his legs pushing his buggy back to the club house from the back
nine.
